Summer 2019 Research Training

MANDATORY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS: PLEASE READ
The Office of Research Compliance is offering the opportunity for undergraduate students on projects supported by funding from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, or the USDA’s National Institutes of Food and Agriculture. Undergraduate Training in the Responsible Conduct of Research is required by these agencies (for more information please visit:https://umaine.edu/research-compliance/responsible-conduct-research/rcr-training-requirements/).
Summer 2019 Undergraduate Responsible Conduct of Research Training
Undergraduate students participating in NSF, NIH, and USDA-NIFA sponsored research are required to be trained in the Responsible Conduct of Research. Training for the summer will occur:
Date: Wednesday, June 12, 2019
Time: 1:00 pm-4:30 pm
Place: Hill Auditorium, Engineering Science Research Building (ESRB)
IMPORTANT! Pre-registration is required (walk-ins will NOT be accepted) and students must be accompanied by a mentor (one per 5 students). To register, please complete the Summer 2019 Undergraduate RCR registration form by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 5th. Please note, registrants will need valid @maine.edu credentials to access the form.
The training is valid for four years; it is not an annual requirement.
The registration form is intended for student registration. Students must list their mentor; and the mentor will be registered automatically.
