Bio: Dr. Abedi is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cooperating Professor of Computing and Information Sciences, and Director of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WiSe-Net) Laboratory. He directs the day to day activities at CUGR and manages the programs.

Bio: Alexandria Jesiolowski is the Administrative Specialist for CUGR. She conducts the prep work and planning for our large events, such as the UMaine Student Symposium. She also manages the budget and funding transfers between fellowship supporters and students, organizes meetings, as well as bridges communication between CUGR and the Graduate Student Government facilitators of the annual symposium.
Bio: Hannah Noriega, is a fourth-year English major here at the University of Maine. She is concentrating in both Creative Writing and Technical/Professional Writing as well as minoring in both Folklore and Outdoor Education. Hannah has been published in the Open Field and is currently writing for The Maine Campus as a culture writer. She intends to pursue a career in publishing or online media.

Bio: Sean is a fourth year pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and a degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Applied Mathematics. He has worked under Dr. Abedi in his WiSe-Net lab and helped teach calculus as part of the Maine Learning Assistant program.
Bio: Jessica is a fourth year double majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry. She has been working in the Robert Wheeler Lab studying host-pathogen dynamics during fungal infection. Jessica is a former recipient of the Center for Undergraduate Research Summer Fellowship (2015) and has been recognized for her research at previous UMaine Student Symposia, receiving first place awards both within the oral presentation category and through the Department of Molecular and Biomedical Sciences. She hopes to pursue a PhD program in Immunology.
