Deanna began working at the University of Maine in 2012 as the secretary in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. She also worked in FIRST before becoming the Administrative Coordinator for CUGR and CORE in April of 2019. She received her BA from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and completed her Master of Arts in English from UMaine in 2018. She self-published her first novel in 2021 and has a few more stories to put to paper. She is an active member of Bangor-based Ten Bucks Theatre Company and a member of the Executive Board.
