CUGR is pleased to introduce a new program designed to help undergraduate students travel to academic seminars, professional meetings, and technical conferences to present their research projects and findings.
Completed Requests, including faculty letters, should be submitted at least a month prior to the start of travel.
Eligibility: Undergraduate students who are enrolled in a degree program at UMaine and conducting faculty-mentored research are eligible to apply. The review process is on a rolling basis and priority will be given to students who have presented at the UMaine Student Symposium. The anticipated award amount ranges from $300–500 per student. Faculty members must remember to also submit a Commitment Letter for the application process (link below).
**Cannot be used to support international travel**
